Since
1999, when then High School Roundup co-anchors presented the first Metro Sports
Kansas and Missouri Coaches of the Year, Metro Sports' presence with the Simone
Awards has grown each year.
Annually, Metro Sports televises the Simone Awards live and presents their
annual Coach of the Year Awards.
