Jeff Handy is one of the most prolific passing quarterback in Missouri history. As a senior at Blue Springs, he was 281 of 417 passing for 3,452 yards – all Kansas City metro records. He also tossed 42 touchdown passes in just eight games.
He went onto the University of Missouri, where he continued to set records. Handy holds Missouri records for single-game attempts with 73 (1st all time at MU), single-game completions with 43 (1st at MU), 2,463 single-season passing yards (3rd at MU), and 6,959 career passing yards (3rd at MU).
